Nordic sugar

Nordic Sugar in Sweden is one of Europe's largest sugar factories. During the production season the sugar factory operates around the clock and daily receives about 600 truckloads of beets, which are converted to sugar and feed products. 45,000 samples of the beets are being analysed each year and, and now 3 UR5 robots from Universal Robots are part of handling this process.The robots are scanning barcodes and picking cans of sugar samples. Another three robots will be installed over the next two years at Nordic Sugar.
